Interrogatory Question: Please just answer “Yes” or “No” and your Cruise Date. Have you received your Option 2 refund ?

Yes, cruise dates March 28 and April 4 (Sky and Caribbean) received all money back but $200. But no future cruise credits for those cruises. Also have not received any refund of shore excursions on Fall cruise that was canceled.

Yes finally received full refund to my CC on June 16th.  March B2B on Sky Princess which we cancelled on 3/7/2020 and took option 2..

We also received all money less $200, however, we had used a FCD as down payment and that $200 FCD has been re-credited to my Princess account.

i just checked and can see our FCD is back on our account along with the obc we got for using said FCD, but no money back to credit card as of yet...waiting on $12k for cruise and also vow renewal fees.

Cancelled my 3/28/20 cruise on March 11th, before the cruiseline cancelled it.  I had received the 25% of cancellation penalty right away and now, after 66 days I have finally received the balance.

 

My FCD's were expired, so they got refunded to my credit card on June 7th.

Cancelled 3/8/20 with 50% cancellation fee to be returned in FCC

Received CC refund for 50% of fare on 3/12/20

Picked Option 2 on 3/12/20 to get remainder refunded and 25% FCC

Received Compensation Receipt acknowledging Opt. 2 on 3/12/20

Received second cancellation notice indicating no cancellation fee on 5/23/20 (what is this? Made me think they were working on my refund.)

Still NO CC refund for remainder of cruise fare or FCC.

Yes - cruise Date 30 Mar.  Refund to credit card and 25% in FCCs.  Received FCDs.   Finalized 17 June 2020

 

Yes - cruise date 15 Mar.  Refund only.  Received FCDs.   Missing bonus FCCs

 

No - cruise date 6 June.  Only received  future cruise deposit 

 

Partial Yes - 22 Nov/6 Dec.  Only FCCs for additional deposit paid.  No FCDs returned or bonus FCCs received

Yes.  Cruise date was March 21st.  We cancelled on March 10th the day before Princess cancelled.  The next day we received back airfare and taxes/port fees onto credit card.  The following day received back all funds for excursions.

 

Filed Option 1 and a week later changed our minds and filed for Option 2.  Last week, suddenly our future cruise deposit showed back up on the Princess page.  On Tuesday, our full remaining amount due for the cruise fare paid showed up on credit card and this afternoon our future cruise credit, which is 100% of our cruise fare showed up on Princess site.  

 

There is hope. Hang in there.

6/17/20 - Hours after posting the above I received the 25% FCC for this cruise. Hopefully CC refund will show up tonight or tomorrow.

        Since  10 March when we boarded for 6 days of our            28 day cruise

No Fare refund  No Port Fees   No FCCs 

  We did get, last week, a cheque  for our Home Bound Air .

cancellation date:  March 10th, 2020

CFAR Insurance claim entered:  March 10th, 2020

Full pause:  March 12th, 2020

Insurance claim closed because of the Princess options:  March 16th, 2020

Completed form for option #2 found on CC (never received by email):  March 17th, 2020

TA learned from Princess that they "did not" have a record of our choice:  April 27th, 2020

Email from Princess to reconfirm our option choice:  May 5th, 2020

Saw FCCs in Captain's Circle account:  May 12th, 2020

Received email that FCCs available:  June 4th, 2020

Refund of booking posted to credit card:  June 18th, 2020

 

Really happy to have received most of our refund!  Unfortunately, we are missing the upgrade we paid for in February.  Better than nothing though!

No - 3/22 cruise

Canceled by Princess 3/12

Received Option 2 verification email 3/16

FCC received 6/1, taken away 6/6 (Princess page said it was applied to a fully paid for cruise - what??) reinstated 6/8 after I called. Asked about refund at that time - told "I don't have any idea"

 

No - 6/6 cruise

Canceled by Princess 4/14

Received Option 2 verification email 4/14

Same answer from Princess for this refund

Full refund: received check from CC June 18th

Package was for 27 day Ruby departing Auckland April 12th and included EZair flexible from Winnipeg to Auckland and pre-cruise 2 night hotel..Received 75% of airfare, 50% of hotel package and port fees on 9 March also all prepaid excursions refunded.

 

Rest refunded to CC on June 4th. Also received Future Cruise Deposit back to CC. 25% Future Cruise Credit received June 17th. 

 

Had filed dispute with CC May 5th.
