International Worker's Day -- sad so many people are out of work.  Do love chocolate parfaits -- as long as they are dark chocolate which is the type of ice cream in our freezer.

International Workers’ Day is well worth commemorating with so many risking their lives for us to provide essential services.  May Day is always cause for celebration - to me, it’s the beginning of real spring when it gets warmer here and the flowers start to come 🙂

We thank all the workers who are doing so much to keep us going through this pandemic.  As far as your meal suggestion, I think I'm going to declare today "HDTC Day" - Hubby's Day To Cook.  That'll be our little secret, okay?  And wine.

Thank you for the report.  No more HAL ships in the Bahamas.  Are those going to Europe dropping off folks or are they getting ready for a European season?  Just wondering..  I know nothing is happening in Alaska til July 1st.  Then it will only be the Eurodam and Koningsdam heading to Alaska.

Hi to my 2 girly girls and fellow Daily-ites. Expecting to have high of 63 today, so yard work looks in order. Also having our windows washed, yippee!

 

Having dinner delivered tonight, so will put the sweet potato shepherd's pie on my to make list for later.

Yeah, and so was Amsterdam - Zaandam's  original dry-dock dates at the Grand Bahama Shipyard in Freeport (07-20 Apr) are past due already, and Amsterdam is not going to keep hers (12-25 May), hence the re-routes
