And Now A Positive Thought!

I was thinking about what a perfect storm this has been for VV.  First the loss of their most attractive port (Cuba) and then the coronavirus.  I wondered if perhaps VV was dead before they ever set sail.  Then a thought hit me..... VV will actually have a huge advantage over the other cruise lines once sailing resumes.  The other lines will find it difficult (impossible?) to actually generate positive cash flow once they resume sailing because so many people will be using FCCs to book these cruises.  VV also has a FCC issue, but it is much smaller and I suspect they will be able to achieve positive cash flow operations much sooner than their rivals.   I wouldn't be too surprised to see some other lines forced into bankruptcy after they resume operations and find that the revenue drain from FCCs is unsustainable.   VV on the other hand will likely be able to hang on and achieve sustainable operations - assuming they are able to survive between now and the resumption of operations.
