But I have been told off by the moderators for mentioning their name previously. My Change Fee Claim was for non-refundable hotels booked and short refund on Travel Insurance taken out for this cruise, just over £ 2,000 in total. Singapore Airlines agreed eventually (initially denied and offered flight credit, but they raised $ 20 BILLION) to refund £ 8,000 + Business Class AirFare 'within 16 weeks'. I requested my refund status, as an email I sent two and a half weeks ago went unanswered. 30 minutes later to my surprise, I got a response. It was a standard email stating theses are uncertain times and my refund will take up to 60 days. Not business days, just 60 days. With our group getting the first refund and the quick response time to my last email, I have hope. I have two itineraries I would like to book, but until I get my refund and FCC. The money appeared on the Credit Cards only this morning, but the Transaction Date on the CC App says that the refund was made on the 8th May. My TA has contacted Seabourn at least 3 times about my refund and FCC all well before the 60 day mark. Each call cas netted new longer times plus a longer time than the original Book With Confidence page in writing on the website. Latest promise is a date that is exactly 60 days after cancellation date and coming up in a little over a week. I also contacted Seabourn thru their twitter account and they had me provide my booking number in a PM forwarded it to customer service and actually got a response. The response only confirmed my refund was in their que but, better then the voluminous silence we all have experienced. An extreme annoyance is the FCC that the website originally said it would be issues automatically within approximately 2 weeks. Understand the word approximately but, over seven weeks now is far from approximately. Extremely close to putting the charges in disputes with my credit cards and hoping that wakes them up but, no reason your TA can't get information prior to waiting 2 months for your money!!!.I guess I am a little confused. Seabourn says refunds will come in 60 days. (I know: 60 days from when? 60 Calendar or business days? Whatever). Why would you or a TA call Seabourn "3 times all within the 60 day mark"? After 30 days TA called again as nothing received and TA again called and Seabourn promised FCC by end of week. Waited 2 weeks with again nothing so TA phoned again and was given a date for the refund (no number of days) and FCC to follow the refund. As far as direct promises never told 60 days but, promised based on the above which has not yet come true. Have seen absolutely nothing in writing about refunds taking 60 days. For the FCC it originally said approx 2 weeks. Well after our approx 2 weeks that changed to I believe 30 days and now the Book with Confidence T's&C's is gone from the website.although a press release from March 13 is still there. Have seen absolutely nothing in writing nor informed verbally about 60 days for refunds and how after 4 more months of cruises have been cancelled can the time remain 60 days??? Simply tired of being lied to and the story we are getting changing multiple times. Expect better from any company and especially a Luxury Cruise Line. and why very soon I will dispute on my credit cards' to make sure we get what was promised before more things change with the resignation of the President. At least it was communication, to acknowlege receipt of our claims, which I guess is what we ALL arr asking for... Hopefully more will receive some refunds soon. FYI the Agent told me that refunds on Celebrity Group taking 30-38 working days, days, NCL about 45 to 69 but almost all Carnival longer.. That was the case with our FCC - it was “posted” promptly to the account but only SB and your TA can actually see it. Seabourn sent out formal email notice to passengers 5/7/20. ~$3000 refunded to credit card as of this morning. Posting date was 5/7. On April 20 my TA said "Just spoke with Seabourn, refunds are a bit behind. It has been advised that you should see your refund by 5/23/20. The FCC should be generated by the end of the week." Then on May 1 a week after the promised date for my FCC my TA said "For the future Cruise Credits, Seabourn is now advising that this will take until May 23rd give or take a few days to generate. Seabourn said they are issuing by hand and it is a timely process, and they send their apologies." So, good try and possibility but, Seabourn admits that the FCC won't be until approx 5/23 it then. And the problem with not seeing the FCC is that we had used an FCD for the cancelled cruise and they say that will be included with the FCC so need the terms of that for expiration date. As well need the Terms and Conditions of the full FCC as it is being generated in accordance with the Book with Confidence plan which has changed from when we cancelled and now has becomed non-existant on the Seabourn website and because it disappeared when Seabourn cancelled cruises until October/November. This makes the original terms of the FCC whereby cruises had to be booked by the end of 2020 and only for 2020 or 2021 cruises possibly being changed due to the lack of very many cruises in 2020. Have to know the T's and C's for the FCC's which should be on the FCC paperwork which you can see by what I got from my TA has not yet been issued after several movements from what should have been the original date of approx 4/6/2020 to now on or about 5/23/2020 or about a seven week delay for something where the actual value is on the cancellation notice from 3/23/2020 so now possibly a 60 day for FCC as well as refund. Interesting that the "transaction date" was listed as the date that I actually cancelled them (March 30). I guess the seabourn can submit a transaction with a prior date - I can not see the credit card company delaying the processing of othe refund by a month and a half.
