Rebook non-refundable deposit to refundable deposit

Price drop - contacted my crack PVP to see what she could do

 

I had booked previously under a Non-refundable deposit of $ 50pp promotion - so far, so good

 

nice little price drop this morning where I could go from a IB interior to a Deluxe OB on Emerald Deck for less than $ 100

'best' offer from PVP was to cancel original cruise - and submit my $ 100 NRD to a supervisor to get a FCC, 

 

but, she needed to whack my credit card $ 100pp for the 'Refundable Deposit' on the new booking

 

FCC and give Princess more money for a cruise that may or may not happen in late November

 

passed … for now - may just call the 1-800 # in the morning - what could it hurt ??

 

glass still half-full - waiting on that 'comp' upgrade ...🍻🤑🦄

I made that type of  change directly thru Princess a couple of years ago.  They charged me nothing, gave me the lower price and the cruise became refundable

thanks - we have done that also " a couple of years ago " - welcome to the new Princess "normal", I guess ... and this is also directly thru Princess , but using a PVP ( Princess Vacation Planner ) instead of just calling the 1-800 and taking my chances

 

meh
