Are we seeing the end of cruising?

I wonder how those who have never been cruising in their life thin about this situation. I doubt that they believe in all this theory of end of cruising. I mean we sea ocean everyday and I cant believe that one day the ship will stop sailing. Just like my grandfather once told me - as long as there is sea, there would be ships. So I doubt the end of cruising will come any time soon

Naturally, those 70+ are avoiding risk. IMO, it is still possible to have low risk domestic cruises.

Younger people need to avoid risks also if they have underlying medical conditions that put them at higher risk of severe complications.

“We estimated that 45.4% of U.S. adults are at increased risk for complications from coronavirus disease because of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, respiratory disease, hypertension, or cancer,” according to a new analysis from the CDC. 29% of Covid-19 hospitalizations involve otherwise relatively healthy individuals.

Quite right. Cruising could end in regions where covid is not under control.

Here's a report of a former skeptic turned believer. His wife 'is still on a ventilator and has been for several weeks.'
