Jezo Posted May 22, 2020 #1 Share Posted May 22, 2020 60 days since March 23 when I got my confirmation email that my request for a refund was being processed. I know it says up to 90 days, so another month, but wondering if anyone who was in the first wave of cancellations have received anything back yet. With the way the news about NCL keeps on going I have considered this a complete sunk cost I might never see again, but still hopeful I get a surprise paycheck one day on my credit card. Rare Peachypooh Posted May 22, 2020 #3 Share Posted May 22, 2020 32 days today for me and nothing. Interestingly I had a problem with an order with an online meat company. Today only 2 days after I notified them a refund appeared on my credit card.

The company is solvent and is in no danger of going out of business in the near future. I took the FCC from my cancelled Alaska cruise and did get some random refunds within a few weeks (no clue what they were for). The full refunds will take longer since there are so many of them. Everyone thinks that it's as easy as pushing a button...but they have to go through all of them, remove the default FCC and apply a refund, their systems just aren't designed for that, and we know that NCL's IT department probably isn't good enough to build out a system. hatelogginin Posted May 22, 2020 #6 Share Posted May 22, 2020 Had a RCCL cruise cancelled and received ALL my money back within 25 days. Still waiting for my NCL refund (day 59).
tallnthensome Posted May 22, 2020 #7 Share Posted May 22, 2020 This question is asked almost every day. I would search and read then other 90 refund threads to see others refund status.
Waquoit Posted May 22, 2020 #8 Share Posted May 22, 2020 I've had my money back for 5 weeks now going the CC dispute route. I put half in an S&P 500 fund and it's gone up almost 5% since.
mnsweeps Posted May 22, 2020 #9 Share Posted May 22, 2020 Cancelled March 5th. No refund yet. It would be 90 days on June 5th.
Rare BSR Posted May 23, 2020 #10 Share Posted May 23, 2020 No refund yet. Filled out the request on March 23rd.
LatinaInTexas Posted May 23, 2020 #11 Share Posted May 23, 2020 Went the CC dispute route also, had my money returned almost 60 days ago plus an interest credit adjustment. So as an example, will everyone that requested a refund on March 23 all get paid in one big group at 90 days? It doesn't seem as though payment are being staggered over the 90 days. esm54687 Posted May 23, 2020 #12 Share Posted May 23, 2020 (edited) There's actually a thread on here that someone put a Google Spreadsheet together to track all this info...... it's a lot easier than starting a brand new thread everytime someone wonders about the status of a refund...... a simple search will find all the similiar threads Here's the spreadsheet one: Edited May 23, 2020 by esm54687

RaftingJeremy Posted May 24, 2020 #14 Share Posted May 24, 2020 NCL is taking the longest so far for me. Requested my refund the first day it was available and still nothing. I had a carnival weekend cruise and RCCL and received my refund from both of them.
banjineer Posted May 24, 2020 #15 Share Posted May 24, 2020 Over on the Regent and Oceania CC forums, some people are reporting recent refunds (last week) for cancelled March cruises. Hopefully a good sign for NCL refunds.
