Room service

Alas, no - we never tried room service.

Continental breakfast only, but the rest looked like a very tempting menu, plus items from the restaurant dinner menu could be ordered during the dinner hour.

Just bear in mind that, based on reports from the last 4 cruises of the Discovery prior to lockdown, which all had norovirus on board, if there is an outbreak of anything on the ship, room service is only given to those medically confined to cabin.

Reports were that service was extremely hit and miss, with some people waiting all day for a meal. One poor soul reported that when they were confined to cabin they had to wait nearly 24 hours before receiving attention.

Unless something has changed, I suspect that the room service offer is based on the expectation that only a small percentage of people will actually use it for anything other than breakfast.
