Aqua Theater Suite Exposure

Recommended Posts

Seems like the best part is you can see what's going on. If you can see them they can see you. Arent the rock walls close by? That's why I'd want one, you can see so much of the diving show and other shows they have there.

You really can’t be seen from the other decks. You can be seen by people across the way, in the aqua theater  and well as the rock wall people. The balcony is large and there are private spots along the side of the balcony.

We had 8330 on Oasis. Here are some pictures.

First one is the closest rock wall. For our cruise the closest one was never used.

Second picture is from the farthest aft part of the balcony looking up at 9330. Because they get smaller as you go up, you can see down to the end of the balcony below.

Third one is what you can see!!! This is why you book it....

Forth one is what you can see from the Aquatheatre. This is from Symphony where balconies are smaller but you get the idea.

I'm thinking of booking an Aquatheater Suite 2 BR.  How private is the balcony?  Can you be seen from above or on the side?

Zero privacy except one small area by dining room.

I didn't feel that way at all.

We were on 8, though

Thank you all for answering my question.  It does seem that the side facing the ocean is pretty private.

Yes, that it is. We had one for the 3 day shortened sailing after Hurricane Dorian, when we stayed on longer.

We weren’t that worried about privacy but we always stay on deck 17 aft facing suites.  We are used to feeling that someone could be watching, but in reality everyone is going about their own way.  Rarely do you see someone look up, unless it is someone you know trying to get your attention.

Can the side facing the ocean accommodate a couple of lounge chairs?

Some pictures of the ocean side of 8330:

Lounger could fit sideways, not facing the ocean.

A few more pictures while I’m searching the album:

Once you move away from the railing facing the Aquatheatre,  we had no issue with privacy.

Not to the cabin next door😉🤣🤣

Privacy plants on Symphony for the ATS. Similar plants are on Oasis and Allure RLS.

Might be better if they were poison ivy to keep the neighbours away, unless one brushes up against it while joining the balcony club.

There are no privacy issues that we encountered.  You have the public view where you can see everything and be seen by people looking up.  Isn't that why you want a balcony like that?  LOL  We felt it was the best of both worlds, you can see what is going on or look out over the ocean.
