Unlimited Drink Package

Recommended Posts

Going on a cruise over Thanksgiving. Two weeks ago the deluxe beverage package was $44/pppd

I go to buy it today and it's up to $59/pppd

Any chance of it going back down? Or will it go up as the date gets closer?

The unlimited dining went from $179 to $199 too.

Kicking myself in the butt for not booking it two weeks ago. .

Always a chance it will drop again, may not be down to $44.  That is the lowest I have seen it in a few years.

You can always purchase it & if it does go lower cancel & rebook.

My three Nov 2020 Cruises from March-Memorial Day had been running at $39 a day. Soda was going at $7.50 which in 2021 goes up to $13.50!  ...Luck

Absolutely it will go down.  I have been watching the same kind of swings in my cruise planner for several cruises.  Wait a bit and you will see the $44 again

You are optimistic.  I hope you are right.  What ship and sailing are you going to be on in August.

Mariner August 24 - I would actually be okay with them cancelling. I have a good amount of OBC that I can then move to another sailing.

I had booked the drink package previously and when it went down I cancelled and rebooked.  Has anyone ever done that and if so... how long does it take to get the refund?   Thank you!

Many people have done this.  Prior to the Covid mess, it would take less than a week to get a refund, now it is any ones guess as to how long it will take.

The Aug 29, 2020 sailing the price is still at $61, I have never seen it go down....to me that seems high for a 7 night cruise! 😒

Mine is $65 for 8/23 out of PC.  That's the most I have ever paid but been watching it since March and it has yet to go any lower.  Highly doubt it will.  Even my UBP for next year are insane.

So much for that predication😇

I guess they have enough to deal with now, Alaska, NE/Canada and Hawaii............your August sailing will definitely be in the next round of cancellations.
