THIS,

For more than 2 diners in a room you need to be in an Oceania Suite or above.

Correct....  The layout  is  very important     From experience, t the O class ( Marina and Rivera_)  I found that these ships, while having larger cabins in PH than the R class PH have an akward and silly dining table at the food of the bed.   More space but poor arraignment.  Whereas, On the R class ( smaller ships) the PH , while smaller has a better arrangement for where the table is located.

The O suite   has a dedicated dining room with 4 chairs... and is the best

Being on a 10 day cruise will limit the amount of on board reservations your likely to be able to get......  take a 14 to 21 day and you have almost unlimited options to get whatever you want.

Understand too that as  your in a PH you can have your butler serve you from any restaurant  every day... without reservations as you will not be occupying  a table in said restaurant  !    So in that respect you could get all 10 days of your choice...but in cabin.
