Anyone sail on the Le Ponant yacht?

Anyone have any experience with the Ponant yacht?

IN light of the restrictions on cruise ships in Canada, could the Ponant yacht operate in Canadian waters? Up the BC coast to Haida Qwaii. Along the St Lawrence to Newfoundland. Very scenic.

 

Iceland is allowing visitors to enter after they pass a covid test. Could Iceland form a bubble with Atlantic Canada? 

 

IMO, this itinerary could work for tiny ships with <200 passengers. Relatively easy to do tests for this number of pax and crew(?)

I have not. I am scheduled for a cruise in Iceland in August. But not sure if it will happen now.

Not on the sailing ship Le Ponant, surely?  The 2020 Iceland cruises were only on Le Champlain, and Le Jacques Cartier.

Sorry I thought you meant Ponant as the company not the specific ship.

Le Bellot, according to the June 1, 2020 update on cancellations and sailings shows the July 7 thru 20 seven day Reykjavik-Reykjavik followed by July 20 thru July 29, nine day Reykjavik to Bergen. Both departing from Iceland.  As of today, Le Bellot still at the Vard Boatworks in Tomra.
