You haven't understood my posts. 

I've sailed HAL.  It is our favorite cruise line.

 

My comments were not about the passengers I've met on HAL but about the entitled posters on CC.

You know the ones that begin "I'm a four star mariner and...", or, "Ashford ruined HAL...".

Absolutely.  Sometimes things were doable.  Sometimes not but comments got pushed up to the proper department to consider.  Unfortunately, there wasn't enough feedback on the decision or reasoning so the employee was usually left thinking suggestions were ignored.

I'm guessing with all the recent problems, nobody at any company is looking at much of anything except how to cut more costs.

I agree that there is someone at HAL who has the responsibility to monitor Social Media, but how much emphasis they put on CC over FB, Twitter, and others is hard to judge.

 

 

 

 

Rich:  I would hope that Cruise Critic  HAL boards would be read.  Most of us who write on the board are HAL Loyalists.
