Free beach day Nassau?

This will be our first time in Nassau.  Are there beaches you can go to with chairs to rent and nearby food/restrooms?  If so, are there taxis at the port you can take like on some of other islands?  Any tour groups you would recommend that arent from the ship or is this a place we should just book from the ship?  Thanks in advance

There is a free beach about a 20-minute walk from the ship.  You can see it from the ship if you go to an upper deck; there is a plain little pier going out into the water.  I believe the beach is called Junkanoo.  No amenities, but it is close and free.
