frito58 Posted June 23, 2020 #4 Share Posted June 23, 2020 Lets face facts you can say majority of ships are going nowhere this year . I have said that all along and people are like OMG that is crazy what do you know . Well now they have cancelled until Oct 1 or there about . They will postpone again as long as the virus is still bouncing around . Use common sense rather than I NEED A CRUISE philosophy . Just my opinion no facts but I was right about Sept and said it a long time ago.

dragonfly33478 Posted June 23, 2020 #7 Share Posted June 23, 2020 From Hal email regarding luggage. The Ms Amsterdam going to Malaysia for layup for considerable time. Hal hopefully will get Malaysia to allow for Amsterdam luggage unloading. Than 60 days to return to usa via container ship. Maybe luggage from march 2020 will make it home by new years. Princess lines got luggage home from Australia Seaborne got luggage home from Australia Crystal got luggage home from Australia Viking got luggage home Reagent got luggage home Cunard got luggage home from Australia Silver Seas got luggage home But be patient...Holland is working on it.... Some of Holland's most loyal customers (about 1200) were on the Amsterdam world 2020.. Orlando's wife and children and their friends were on Amsterdam world 2020... . I wonder if they got their luggage home..
drsel Posted June 24, 2020 #8 Share Posted June 24, 2020 world cruises are highly over priced. It is also very troublesome getting so many visas for so many countries.HAL will run out of entertainment for so many days and will have to repeat some shows. Many days will have no entertainment whatsoever. The food will be repeated after a particular cycle. And you expose yourself to virus infection in so many different countries. Obviously you have a real problem with HAL world cruises. You probably shouldn't book one 🙂 1

You probably shouldn't book one [emoji846] My main problem is the price.if the cost was the same as all the other cruises on a per night basis, I would definitely book it.If a 7 night Cruise starts at $700 per person, a 100 night Cruise should start at $10000 per person. wannagonow123 Posted June 24, 2020 #14 Share Posted June 24, 2020 I have a 14 day cruise booked for November. I called HAL after reading this post, and was told that at this time, select trips have been cancelled because crew is still on those ships According to HAL, my cruise is still a go.
