Experience Transferring Cash From One Invoice to Another?

Recommended Posts

I'm learning today my March sailing on Odyssey is cancelled.

So far I've just put down my $1,000 deposit on that cruise.

I have a cruise this November on Adventure and final payment is coming up.  I still owe $1,000. 🙂

Does anyone have experience getting Royal to just move money from one sailing to another?

Or will I have to pay the $1000 out of pocket, and then wait (forever likely) for the refund from Odyssey?

You're dealing with RCI so more than likely you'll have to pay your final balance and then wait for a refund or FCC for your cancelled cruise.

I have a similar question.

The cruise I was going on is cancelled but does this mean I still need to pay the final balance in the next 4 days (final balance date is 04/07/2020)?

I know that they can move the deposit money to a new reservation but I am not sure if they can move it to an existing one.  worth a call to find out.  Also they have been making changes as to how things are processed so I wouldn't rely on a "they couldn't do it for us last month" answer as being true today.
