Let's share links to our favorite cruise reviews!

Recommended Posts

As for many who love cruising it became quite depressing not to have a cruise to look forward to.  For years I enjoyed many and had so much fun reading detailed and fascinating reviews by fellow cruisers. I learned about new ships and even booked some of the cruises after reading reviews on these boards.

One day we WILL be cruising again .

In a meantime....How about we share links to the most memorable reviews we found on Cruise Critic?

Anyone remember great Live with Radio reviews? :)

Yes. We will sail again. Hopefully sooner than later.... safely.

There are a lot of CC members who devote hours in perfecting wonderful reviews full of interesting and useful information. Thank you to all of those members.

For us, the most memorable reviews are those which boarder on absurdity on their complaints. Everything from a ruined cruise because Sorentos didn't have a sausage pizza to the lady who wanted to complaint up to the CEO that a room steward had the nerve to touch her shoes which were left in the middle of the floor and neatly placed them next to the dresser.  I know that's not what you want, so I won't link them. Always look for entertainment along with good information.

I'd love to read those reviews too! I think all of us can use a good laugh these days :)

Great suggestions everyone! Let's keep the links coming! It will make the time when we all can cruise again go faster! 🙂

There are so many fantastic reviewers/writers/entertainers here on CC as already mentioned above.

AussieVisi2r (her name is Raina) was an incredible blogger here on CC'er. Her adventures are legendary.

She now blogs all of her cruises on her own blog site

http://www.rainatravels.com/

If you're looking for some good reading/pictures to enjoy every once in a while, a few of my own personal favorites are

https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2028118-serenade-sept-17-282014-review-wlots-of-photos/

https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2056328-quantum-dec-1-11-2014-review-wlots-of-photos/

https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2310655-adventureabcs-aug-20-272016-review-wlots-of-photos/

https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2560648-brilliance-british-isles-june-19-july-22018-review-wlots-of-photos/

Old reviews are hard to search for. I haven't figured out how yet. If anyone knows how to search for them please post the instructions (ie. find the CC member, and look for their activity or which threads they started)

Love this idea. I don't have any links to reviews myself as I have just started reading them, but am looking forward to reading the ones recommended here.

I want to thank all the vloggers out there as your youtube videos are a great distraction when you can't cruise yourself.

I hope you may want to read some or all of these. Every one of them was fun and interesting

I always followed along with the Live with Radio reviews.  Do you happen to know where he disappeared to?  I did catch him on one of the other lines but not in the last year or more.

I found him! He responded to the thread on Celebrity boards. Here is his latest review of Celebrity Summit. Now to reading it! :)

Since I'm having cruise withdrawal at the moment, we do have a land vacation to St Thomas planned this month (fingers crossed we'll get to do it with this whole COVID thing going on). I missed my Oasis cruise (and had been waiting to get on that ship for 10 years!!) Boo Hiss!

For anyone wanting to kill some (well, lots) of time because there's nothing better going on at the moment but sadness in the world, I did start a webpage to help others out when looking for specific info on ports, hotels and so on. It list everything so that it's easier to find. MITSUGIRLYS cruise adventures (and land)

Also enjoy @Jamman54, @LittleMissMagic@BillOh@mitsugirly, @harryfat1

Missing the reviews from years past of @maxs mom , @KansCocoa, @Kcjarvis

Thanks for the shout-out! I wrote but never posted the last day for Harmony of the Seas - the timing seemed wrong because all of the cruises were being canceled due to the pandemic. I keep wondering when the timing will be right.... maybe soon, just to reminisce about the calm before the storm. That was such a great cruise.

Also, my family had an Alaska cruise booked this summer, but of course that was canceled - major bummer, but we do want to sail Alaska again, whenever things are safe and we have the opportunity.

But, you still have those "other" photos I sent, right? 😜

Say its not so....the one in the bar in Cozumel is missing?  Tragedy

It was so notorious, they tore down the bar.  😂  I've been out on disability since February, need to get both knees replaced.  I just can't stand in the pharmacy all day long.  I applied for a work from home job with my company, you know, the one with more than 3 letters in its name... if I got it, I was going to do a cruise like review of my trip to Florida.  It was 2 months of training in Orlando.  I was going to drive down with my cat.   Alas, I didn't get it.  My March Harmony was cancelled, so, I rebooked for August.  That cancelled, so, now I just have Harmony November  15 with MrFunInTheSun.  We both have our fingers crossed for that one.  Stay safe, everyone!
