Recommended Posts

OK just a little tid bit I sailed on Royal Jan. Feb. & Mar. of this year in fact the March one last one before shut down. The March sign and sail card was a new design  card was a deep blue and to lower left side there is a box called assembly station, this is like in school you went to a assembly what happened to muster or boat drill. Your on a ship isn't it , marinetine or nautical  language what else is going to be called some else we have decks called floors, cabins called rooms etc etc

In current terminology, "Assembly Station" is the correct name for the designated area that pax go to when hearing the General Emergency Signal. Many pax still refer to it as a Muster Station, but correct terminology is "Assembly Station", which has been in place for well over 10 yrs.

Muster Drill is carried out at your Assembly Station.

As for "floors", this term is already in use on ships, as the "floors" are vertical, transverse framing members along the bottom of the ship.
