New Princess Players Club offer - July 2020

Back in April 2020 many of us had received a very generous offer from the Princess Players Club. Today I received a new offer. Prior to April, the best offer I had received was $650 Casino Free Play. Like many, when the April offers came out myself and many of us were quick to make a booking for 2021.

Lets compared the offers I have received...

April 2020 - valid for cruises to Caribbean, Mexico, and California Coast. Sailings dates January 2, 2021 - May 1, 2021
- Free Oceanview Stateroom (upgraded to Balcony for $35CDN each)
- $500 Casino Free Play
- Princess Plus (drinks, wifi, gratuities included)

July 2020 - valid for cruises to Caribbean, Mexico, California Coast, Alaska, Europe, and Canada & New England. Sailings dates January - November 2021
- Free Interior Stateroom
- $50 Casino Free Play.

Based on the new offer received today, I assume the April promotion may have attracted more guests than Princess expected. Maybe they are lowering the offers to test how low they can go and still get new bookings, and it's possible we can see increased offers again in the future.

I'm curious if anyone received a new Casino offer that was comparable to the April 2020 one, or if they were all downgraded.

Stay safe, and look forward to cruising along side some of you in 2021. 🙂

I just received an email from Princess Players Club with many free cruises (Inside) + $50 casino credit. Unlike the ones many of us got a couple of months ago, these do not seem to offer the all inclusive package-Anybody else get these?

I received the exact same as well.  I have the first one booked for next March.  I like that the current offer goes all of the way to November 2021, and has Europe and Alaska as options.  The offer itself is probably the lowest I've ever received for a comp cruise.

I just logged into my Captain Circle account and see that I also have $250 Casino Free play with the same dates as the promo above.  Not confirmed yet ( I’ll call tomorrow), but I’m assuming I’ll have the option of the interior room with $50 free play, or the $250 free play. The free room offer is more appealing, but not enough for me to rush and book another cruise. I booked the April offer for March 2021.  I’ll update when I call and inquire.

Can any one tell me when you book this casino offer can you use your future cruise credit and if so do you receive the extra OBC? Based on the email we received the $200 deposit required is returned to you as OBC when you board the ship however when you book this cruise you must pay in full now for this offer no matter how far out your cruise is scheduled.

Also, how about the Military and Stockholders OBC?

Any advise is appreciated.

Many thanks.

I just booked this offer for a 10-day Caribbean voyage in March of 2020.

I too had FCC available.  I could not use any funds towards the port fees and taxes or the $200.00 deposit per person.

I will tell you that I was able to an FCC towards the Princess Plus package that includes unlimited beverages, gratuities, and WIFI,  The amount of the FCC has to be less than the amount of the upgrade,  I had a FCC with a value of approx. $150.00 that I used towards the Princess Plus.

The Free Cruise ended up costing me almost $1,200.00, but I will have $400 in OBC with beverages, gratuities, and wifi.  There is no where else you can go for $60 per day per person for an all-inclusive vacation for 10-days.  Princess is taking care of their Casino Players.

Can’t wait to set sail!

I am on this cruise - the second leg of B2B.  This is replacing my Alaskan cruise May 2020.  Excited for Alaska.

I have an Alaska cruise booked for next May in a suite can I use this interior offer and just pay the difference between the 2 cabins?

Usually you can "upgrade", depends on cabins allotted for that. But basically, yes you can.

My travel agent called and I can get the discount if I change cabins from my vista aft cabin to a penthouse cabin.  I would save 1000.  The vista suites are sold out so they won't reprice my cabin.

My current offer is what the OP got. My previous offer (which I booked) was:

we’re pleased to offer you this very special offer for select 2021 sailings to the Caribbean, Mexico and California Coast:

FREE Balcony stateroom
+
$1000 Casino Free Play
+
Princess Plus††

The Aft Penthouse cabins are nice - no beams on the balcony.

So - when everyone received the April offers, I didn't receive anything because I already had two Princess Casino cruises booked - one for July 20 2020 and one for November 2020.

After having the July one cancelled and cancelling the November 2020 one, I received an offer for a free balcony, $1000 in free play and Princess Plus amenities. So it might be more that they only want people to have one good offer cruise booked.

I really love the aft looking at the wake and this is an Alaska cruise so I would be protected from wind.

We've sailed with Princess 9 times, and book with the standard casino discount all of the time, however, I only get free sailing offers from HAL, with whom we've only sailed with once. HAL mails me me every month with free offers, or highly discounted offers.

We prefer Princess over HAL, and even wrote the Princess casino department about the fact that HAL is offering us so much more, and Princess did nothing, so we are now starting to book with HAL. I'd much rather have a free cruise, instead of free gratuities, or free laundry. We recently booked a "Casino VIP" 14 day FLL to Amsterdam for a third of the going rate, with priority embarkation/disembarkation, drinks, parties, tournaments, and casino cash.

I never pay attention to casino offers, not a high roller plus I cruise once a year on a longer cruise.  I don't do short cruises, sail to the Caribbean or Mexico, pretty much ignored offers.  This one was posted to my account 6/29.

I just cancelled an Enchanted 22 day cruise, re-booked the Crown for Oct. 2021 and according to my personal page, I'll get a casino credit of $250.
