Losing weight need to get back to cruising

LOL.

In the days when we were into intensive port cruises, we lost weight on a cruise -- no matter how much we ate, and we didn't worry about it.

But when we got hooked on sea days .... oh dear.

If there's any silver lining to this it's losing weight. I've lost 35 lbs since Feb. My Dr wanted to know how that happened.

You must be thin as a rail..post or send me a picture..

The back side of this is your body has adapted and parts of your GI system have contracted .....a case of your eyes now can be larger than your stomach................  even more frustrating !!!!     Not only  do you long for the foods you used to eat  but now your find you can not eat 1/2 of the former.......

I’m still a pretty big boy. Another 20 and I’ll be in fine cruising form. No current pics as Teresa seems to only take them on vacations, and those have been non existent since December.

What am I doing wrong??? My weight is going in the wrong direction.

We get up, start the bacon frying, put a can of cinnamon rolls in the oven, cut up the fruit, fry a couple of eggs in the leftover bacon grease, and then ready, set, go.

After the dishes are done we look at each other and, at the same time, say “what’s for lunch”.

Next we sit in our recliners watching the news and putting together the grocery list.

Even the dog is fighting the bulge.

Think I’ll do a search on Amazon to see if I can find some self help books to get us back on track.[emoji125]‍♂️

Profiteroles????  My absolutely favorite dessert on Oceania but for the past few cruises they were few and far between ...

Oh Mura....last time I got the usual three profiteroles on a plate, as many calories I'm sure as the full dinner. Then later in the cruise, the waiter knowing I drool over them, found another plate of the for me.

18 days,10 sea days- that was a 5 lb cruise.
