Sovereign’s final port of call

Recommended Posts

Thanks for the video.  I first sailed on her when she was only a year or so old and the largest cruise ship in the world.  Later on my my wife and myself took a few short  cruises out of Port Canaveral.  The last time we saw her in person was after she was transferred.  She happened to be having a turnaround day in Barcelona while we were having a pre-cruise (Brilliance) stay there.

This video was more dignified.than the Monarch as it had no talking.

Very moving.

Sovereign was my first RCI ship in October of 1989 when she was still new.

I feel lucky to have found a hast in new condition - lavender color on ebay.

There was a pink one yesterday in case anyone intetested.

Sovereign was our first cruise EVER in 1988, her #013 but I don't think they called it that because some people thought it bad luck. Well we were hooked from then on and now so sad to see her go. Even worse that we will not be on ANY cruise this year and if/when things get started we will see about next year.
