Everything... project Leonardo/Prima class!

Recommended Posts

In the atrium render you might have noticed the larger windows all the way in the background.

See there's an outside wrap around walkway in real life vs the render. And those beams seem to be sturdy enough (and open ) to be fitted with glass plates to create a skywalkish deck?

At the rendering the lower glass front looks much bigger then at the real pic.

With all the new stylisch Interieur I hope they don’t forget a good district brewhouse or sports bar. Hope they do something similar like at the away+ class. The seaside has a sports bar with glass front/ winter garden too.

or sports bar.

Would be nice if they had this on the current ships!  I was on the Bliss during the World Series in 2019 and had to use my internet minutes for updates as I couldn't find a public TV showing the games ANYWHERE, and it wasn't on the room TVs either.

Although the Latitudes status does not transfer, your Casino Status (if you have one) does carry between all lines are all Casinos At Sea. So if you are Ruby on NCL, you will also be Ruby on Oceania and Regent.

Adding that you can also get Oceania casino discounts/comps based on your NCL casino play.  (Booked for 14 days to Bermuda on B2B Oceania cruises in 2021 based on my NCL casino status.  My first Oceania - can't wait!)

And...?  Not everything is about size.  I've also sailed RCI, on Explorer and Anthem.  I can't imagine sailing on an Oasis-class ship, those things are massive!  RCI's Quantum (and Quantum-Ultra) and NCL's Breakaway (and Breakaway-Plus) ships are about the largest I can see being on.  I honestly give NCL some credit for NOT going for the size crown and even going a little SMALLER with the Leonardo-class ships.  There are just some places those super-mega ships can't go.

Oasis class ship - when sold out - was the least crowded ship I have been on. RCL knows how to build ships and utilize their deck space. That said, I have no desire to go larger, but love the Oasis class ships.

Yes. And they build this ship class little higher, I think, then other.

i think Leonardo class will have More rooms with balcony then the other ncl ships.

deck space is the question what ncl is doing. Encore could have without laser tag, race track, the biggest vibe at sea enough deck space. But Ncl cut it down.

Encore is the absolute worst ship we have ever been on.

I'll have to side with you on this but I would say the worst NEW ship. We were on her inaugural TA from Southampton to New York last year. We enjoyed the crossing very much, the sail-in into New York was the best we have ever had, ship was beautiful, we had excellent service, and so on, but we will not cruise on her again due to lack of Spice H2O, and we are not interested in the Race Track, Laser Tag or Virtual Reality. On top of that the awful bubble cr*p chandelier that graces the atrium is by far the worst.

Pity about that. The Le Bistro on Encore was the best!! It's on deck 17 with fantastic windows and views. The Bliss is the same. Le Bistro on Breakaway, Getaway and Escape are the worst due to its location.

We enjoyed our Encore cruise.  We had a large balcony so didn't really spend any time by the pools. Loved Choir of Man and hope those shows survive this cruising shutdown.  Yes, ugliest chandelier ever, but we enjoyed every minute of that cruise.   We especially loved Onda.  We were booked again on her with two nights of Onda reserved when our April cruise was cancelled.

It looks like Leonardo class has some great 'Waterfront' type deck space.  It could become our favorite type of ship if they utilize that area well.   I could imagine some good music and enjoying indoor/outdoor bars and restaurants on that deck.  I hope they add restaurants like Onda and Pincho Tapas to Leonardo class🤞

you like Pinchos with the dining plan's 4 item limit??

We also love Pincho! We never use a dining credit there. We just use some of our OBC to get items a la carte there for lunch. We try to do that at least twice every time we sail on the Escape!

We love Pincho Tapas for a lunch so we would happily use some of our OBC in there.

with the insane ala carte prices increases in all specialty restaurants the past couple of years, i had better use of my obc.

namely alcohol from the gift shop to bring home :)

Piraeus at Aug. 30th and Sept. 29th.

and at Cadiz from Barcelona to Lisbon at  Oct 25th -> that should be the TA

That's some good detective work! So a (short) inaugural Med season for Leonardo 1 in 2022.

i think yes, the big one in the middle should be a door ?

at the ship renderings this area is straight, at the pic i´m not sure if the door? with 2-3 windows left and right are further out than the rest. ( Maybe it is only because the pic is not so clear, not sure). i think i´m wrong and it is straight?

But at the Ondo? pic the windows are not straight too, but looks different?.
