She left PPT around 12:50 pm local time. There was a delay waiting for test results but the good news is PG was cleared to travel 😁

 

Lets keep out fingers crossed or give a prayer that all goes well over the 14 day cruise to the Society Islands  ... Fakarava and the Marquesas.

The PG is 6 miles southwest of Fatu Hiva .... right on schedule. Yeah!

The Paul Gauguin is about an hour west of Hiva Oa waiting for daybreak before entering the bay of Taha Uku 🙂

 The PG arrived in Taiohae Bay on the island of Nuka Hiva this morning 2 am local time 🙂

The PG is 10 miles north of Tikehau on it's way to Huahine 🙂

This is just such happy news. Really lifts my spirits about everyone's upcoming cruises. Once more, thanks for keeping us informed.

When passengers return from the cruise would you update us as far as it went for them- precautions, COVID testing etc?

My guess some people will discuss their experiences on the PG forum or the roll call for that cruise, August 29, 2020
