Anyone recently booked a cruise yet? I'm tempted.

I just booked march 2022. 2021 still makes me nervous. Will get our $600 credit from our Fascination cancellation,  a. $100 casino bonus, free drinks in casino, plus we still have our original deposit. (Couldn’t use that to rebook, had to pay a new deposit)

Awesome! At least you have something to look forward to in 2022! What happened with the original deposit? Free drinks in a Casino you say?! I've never gotten a "free" drink in a casino....lol. That'b a magic casino where I'd never lose 🙂. I've gotten plenty of complimentary drinks for my loses though 🙂 😂.

I was told that my Casino rate and $200 OBC plus free drinks in casino would not transfer from my canceled Nov. 2020 cruise to a future cruise.  I do get my FCC for the deposit paid plus $300 (or possibly $600 OBC - if it's not a typo) for a future cruise. Problem I have is the cost of our 11/30/2020 balcony out of NOLA cost Much less than any comparable Caribbean cruise I can find in 2021.

I had a March Premier cruise booked that was cancelled due to dancing of the ships.  I rebooked for March '21 under a Dealer's Choice rate which offers $200 obc and free drinks in casino while gambling.  That is the first time I have seen free drinks offered under Dealer's Choice.  Got a separate card with the offer for various sailings. They will not transfer a casino rate unless the specific sailing you are interested in is included in whatever promo they have at the time. If booked under one offer, keep checking, because sometimes they add sailings to certain offers.  I had a cruise booked as dealers choice that all of a sudden was changed to premier.  Called my pvp and I was added to premier offer.

The free drinks in the casino and casino credit is just a VIFP promo we were eligible for. We plan to use the OBC to buy cheers so the free casino drinks isn’t a big deal. We aren’t big gamblers so don’t know why we were offered this, other than getting us to book.

I live in Oregon, fires are everywhere, no one is unaffected here, so between that and the virus I really needed something to look forward to.

I needed another booking like a hole in the head. I cant believe my vista cruise has gone up. I'm in at 860.xx and now it's at 900.xx. hopefully it drops and I can get a price drop, I really think carnival prices are crazy.

I was seeing rock bottom prices on rcl and somehow my ta can always see even cheaper prices than the rcl site shows me. Been watching and sitting on my hands since the labor day sale when they were giving away JS. Rcl gives me 3 loyalty pts, solo and 1 extra for a suite. 2 pts for anything below JS solo.

I couldn't resist any more (6 booked and now 7). D6 balcony on deck 9 or deck 6 or 7 for $17 more D2 furthest out on the hump for better sight lines. Took the hump deck 6, 1 deck above promenade on liberty. Texas discount, before they also had senior and military during labor day. For those who dont know what a hump balcony is, attached. Never had one and for $17 more couldn't resist. First hump, yea. No more!!! Be still my fingers.

When I rebooked I thought that was what supposed to happen but they applied my deposit to the new cruise and all I had to come up with was the differemce in price.

This is what I was anticipating also . . . . was there a reason the deposit might not transfer ?

For some reason Carnival wants the passenger to pay a new deposit.

I've transferred twice and neither time had to pay a new deposit. First time transferred to oct 2020, all transferred, every dime. Got cancelled, transferred to vista sept 2021 and all but $37 transferred.

Never asked to pay new deposit on either carnival transfer from canc cruise.

Have you booked yet? Are you holding out? Are you tempted too?
I am just worried that if something happens with CCL that I would be out my $.

I do a lot of mock bookings but I won't put any money into it. When i found out they were selling off all the boats that brought me to a screeching halt.

Was booked on my 2nd cruise on the PANORAMA for Aug but it got cancelled. I only had the deposit so if I book for 2021 I hope the deposit transfers. It was small ($100) and I have 'til 12/31 to decide. Waiting to see how everything all plays out. Not going to do the mask, distancing, ship-sponsored tours only cruise. Will just wait.

I booked for February 2022.  I had two cruises cancelled...the Breeze in December 2020 and the Sunrise in December 2021.  I had to use my airfare voucher from United by July of 2022...I picked February based on a combination of wanting to wait until 2022, my availability being early-mid-February, April, May, pricing, ships, itinerary.  March had some good deals but I'm a bagpiper so March is off the list ☘️.  May and June started to get expensive.  So, early February it is.  I also am doing my payment different this time.  Instead of doing a ton of small payments over time I'm just doing one big payment when it's due.

Still have my NCL be for Jan 2021- doubtful will sail at this point but since final payment pushed to 60 days- might as well wait. But I’m not gonna do it if masks required. Nothing against Masks at all- but on a cruise? Caribbean humidity? Nope. Will use that money to go with In-laws to their TS in Mexico instead in January. And airfare cheaper to Mexico than Miami!!!

Did book Panorama for Jan 2022 a couple mmo this ago with all those promotions and price was right - had been accumulating Allstate gift cards- with the 12% discount now even better!
