I remember a few years ago on the WC people were commenting on a passenger they called "Rasputin".  He dressed as Eastern Orthodox monk or priest, usually ate in his room but refused to let the stewards in to clean it, and was often soliciting donations both ashore and onboard for his "Church".  I believe the ship put him off in Australia.
