What is your next cruise? A 3 part question. 🤔

We have had one cruise cancelled for November. It was to Hawaii, and since we have never been, that was very disappointing. We rebooked it for 2022.

Our next cruise is Visions in March

We are not entertaining any notion of it being cancelled

We have the Empress booked from Montreal in September. You never know what Canada is going to do. That would be a bummer if it got cancelled.

I'd be slightly concerned about Empress being retired, but wish you well

I love to cruise in hurricane season. Its an adventure

We do too. And we have enjoyed each one of them. Last year we did an unplanned B2B2B : stayed back on the ship for the first two and changed the ship for the third one (so B2B2S? LOL!).

Now for the 1, 2, 3 of the question:

First cruise booked is on the Anthem

Second booked also on the Anthem
Third booked is on Sky Princess.

Plan to do some in betweenies but will wait last minute, assuming there will be any cruises.

I won't be devastated, but yes, I will be disappointed, grumble, pout ........and then get on with life.

1) Our next booked cruise is March of 2021 on Symphony.  We believe it will be sailing.  However, if we have to quarantine upon our return home to a Canada we won’t go.  If cruises aren’t sailing by our final payment in December, we won’t be making that payment. We want to see how cruises will operate prior to parting with our funds.

2) We are confident that our October 2021 cruise on Allure will be out next one.

3) Missing a cruise won’t be devastating in the big picture.  We have already cancelled 2 before their final payments were due. In reality the hardest thing to do was cancel a 10 day land trip to Hawaii this past April.  There will be another chance to go one day.

We look forward to our return to cruising, when ever that day is for us.

Had HAL Canada cruise for 7/20 that got cancelled.

Had CCL Bahamas cruise for 10/20 that got cancelled.

We preemptively cancelled a Celebrity ABC cruise for 3/21 while in refund window.

Just booked a RCI S Caribbean cruise for 2/22 (Odyssey) and think we will be on that one and will be bummed if not.

Celebrity Equinox - Jan 2021

Celebrity Edge - Feb 2021

RCI Navigator - May 2021

RCI Symphony  - Jul 2021
RCI Mariner - Sep 2021

Right now it wouldn’t surprise me if they all sailed or if they all were cancelled. My guess is our cruises on Symphony and Mariner are the only ones that will sail.

Our Ovation is the one that ends up in Singapore for drydock. You have a much better chance than us

I wasn’t aware that Ovation was going through drydock a cruise before ours.  Great info! Hoping your cruise sails as well.

1. What is your next 'booked' cruise? - Anthem, January 15

2. What is your next 'booked' cruise that you think will sail. - I hope this one will sail

3. Of all your 'booked' cruises, which one will devastate you if it gets cancelled, or you decide not to go - unlike in previous years I only have 1 booked (as we kept booking and they kept cancelling). We are missing cruises dearly, but at this point we won't be devastated if it is cancelled. We got used to it.

My brother has had good luck with Hurricane cruises getting extended.

M8

I am not so keen to get extended.

I got extended during hurricane Ike and never saw my car again, out of Galveston.

Spent the hurricane night a extra night in cozumel, limped back to New Orleans where we got off and went thru customs and got a rental car to get home. A few hundred reboarded the ship and eventually got permission to go to Houston port that wasnt in use. They got back to texas the following thursday.

No thanks to extension. Took Allstate forever to get to my car. Found out I had higher deduction for flood I insurance than if I was hit in accident. Who checks their flood insurance if they live way inland?

2. Harmony 02/14/21

My next booked cruise is in May 2021 on the Empress to Bermuda.

The Cruise I have booked that I think will sail is in September 2021 on Sapphire Princess to Alaska.

The cruise that will disappoint me if it doesn’t sail is my May 2021 Bermuda cruise because Bermuda is on my bucket list.  I’m watching the empress of the seas thread because there are rumors that she has sold, she is getting scrapped, she is still in the RCI fleet. No one knows 🤷‍♀️

Next cruise: Allure Nov 15, 2020

Next I think will cruise: Oasis March 2021

Most disappointing if canceled: Allure in Nov. Scheduled to be our 1st on Allure & 1st CLS. We have a CLS in March, but our next 3 cruises will be on Oasis, so it will be 2 years before we MIGHT be booked on Allure again.

I'm hoping in 2 years or so pier 3 will be finished in Galveston and allure will be heading our way. I think I saw last schedule restart in april 2021 and finished by sept 2022.
