The Ryndam picture - I do notice the tower but I have no idea of what it is or where. What's the country?

Okay, Rotterdam, then!

 

I thought it was taken in late afternoon (ship leaving, heading west) so was looking at wrong side of river/canal. Now that you mentioned Euromast, the picture was taken in early morning as Ryndam entered Rotterdam.

I was looking for landmarks. I'd say, due to the two Dhow-looking craft, it kinda looks like Oman, but not Muscat. Salalah perhaps?

Oman is the correct country but it's not Salalah ... here is the zoomed-in picture ... 😉

That's one of the Emir of Oman private toys "Al Said" so Muttrah, Oman?

Muscat.  Ship is the Sultan's "yacht" and is docked there full time.  Only occasionally goes for a ride. Last port Athens to Dubai on Azamara 2017.
