Heading to Alaska from Seattle.....

Well... after overthinking this somewhat, I may have to change my response.  Most of the interior cabins on the Eurodam have their doors opening out to the starboard side.  So, it’s more likely a passenger will run into the stewards and their equipment on that side of the ship.  So, if you need a reason to pick a side, choose the port (left) side of the ship.  Have a great time.

IF you have Glacier Bay on the itinerary AND will not be leaving your cabin.  A port side is preferable.   Frequently longer glacier viewing and the NPS commentary about the glaciers lines up with the port side.

There is a lot to see and you certainly do double your opportunities if you move about the ship.

Unless there is soot on one's veranda and its furniture.

We've had a couple of true afts on Radiance and soot was no problem...so I guess this varies.

That wake view...amazing !!

THANK YOU for this post regarding AFT cabin.  I just upgraded to an aft suite and was beginning to doubt my wisdom.  Will be on Quantum in Sky Suite next June and I am BEYOND excited.  First trip to Alaska and first time in a Sky Suite!!

Hmmm...RCI Quantum doesn't have Sky Suite's that's a Celebrity category.

Do you mean Sky Tier suite's like OS or GS  category?

Regardless enjoy your true aft suite...and hopefully your cruise will sail by then.
