Ketchikan

Hi guys, am hoping that next May, will be on Radiance Ots, will be in Ketchikan from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Am lookin to take the photo safari tour that leaves at 9:30 an gets back to the ship at 12:30. Then maybe take the wildlife safari & beach bonfire tour, the time for that is 12:45 to 4:15. Would it be possible to do both tours? Any suggestions? Thanks

You'll be cutting it close. Plus, you are assuming you'll make it back to the ship on time.

Most cruise lines have rules about allowing certain amount of time between excursions...HAL, for example, recommends 45 minutes. Ask on the RCI board on their policy.

Are these both ship excursions?    However-  I'd say this is not a good idea,  unless you are willing to accept the possibility of not making it to the second tour=  AND, ok with loosing the funds paid???      There also may be a default that prevents you booking this,  if a ship tour.  

 

It's not clear exactly what these tours involve,   but "wildlife"  isn't easy to find in the Ketchikan area.

Hi, yes they are both ship excursions.  Well, got lots of time to make decisions, but you're right it might not be a good idea. Also, got to think about traffic getting back in time, so...

I wouldn’t do it. Almost every time I take an excursion purchased through the cruise line, it goes longer than expected.
