Joy Aft Balcony

My Joy cruise was cancelled, but since she is built like Bliss & Encore you could look for information on their aft balconies.   Just be aware that the Joy cabins are numbered differently than Bliss/Encore so look where you are on a deck to be sure.

From everything I've seen & read on this board, decks 9 & 12 definitely have room for loungers.   We enjoyed our Encore in a B1 on deck 9.  Had plenty of room for two loungers, two chairs plus the small table.    Another option- the M6 Club Balcony Suites with Larger Balcony (former Mini-Suites) on Deck 8 are all 102 sq feet and all would  hold two loungers & two chairs.

We have re-booked on Joy for an Aft Balcony on deck 9.  Some like deck 12 better as it has a higher view.  (We did like deck 12 aft on Escape a couple of years ago.)     We have also enjoyed the M6 on Encore earlier this year.    All should be good choices.

Great picture!   It looks like decks 11, 14 & 15 would also fit a lounger.   Would love to have one of those corner suites, but the regular aft balcony suits us fine.

It there aren't loungers on your balcony when you embark, you can always ask your room steward.     We have done that before (along with a nice tip!)

Check out cruisedeckplans.com.  Some people post videos of the rooms they've stayed in.  There is one video from cabin 10368, but it doesn't look like a lounger would fit.

Yes, Deck 10 Aft is reported not as deep and wouldn't fit a lounger.

Decks 10 and 13 are the least deep on sister ships Escape, Bliss and Encore.

Looking to book a cruise on the Joy and we really enjoy aft balcony's.  Are any of them large enough (non-Haven) to accommodate a lounger?  I haven't been able to find many pictures.  Thank you!

Keep in mind that cruisedeckplans.com public site offers pictures and videos of various ships, cabins, and public spaces.  Really good resource.
