Doing a translantic NY to Barcelona; During Holy Week, what should I expect.

 

Palm Sunday in Ponta del Garda, Azores

Holy Thursday in Granada, Malaga, Spain

Good Friday in Alicante, Spain

Holy Saturday in Palma, Majorca, Spain

Easter Sunday in Barcelona, Spain

A lot of advanced Prayer needed for this to happen. Spain ? Portugal is not open yet and Americans after their record on the virus, will probably be the last it opens to.

I would expect most things to be closed by lunchtime Thursday in Malaga and very busy due to Semana Santa processions.  Good Friday sees most of Spain closed as does Easter Sunday.  A few Centro Commercials may open, but they tend to be outside the immediate city centres.

If you porting in Malaga and expect to travel to Granada, you would want to be very careful with traffic, both on the roads, and around Malaga when you return to port.  Holy Week (Semana Santa) is a major religious observation time in Spain and a very busy time.
