Port Canaveral park, stay, cruise

Well your medium might be my splurge, but Hilton has several properties (Homewood suites, Hampton Inn, Home 2 Suites, etc.) very close to the port that, at least pre-virus, offered stay/park/cruise packages.

I would NOT use GoPort. Do yourself a favor and book yourself. We had booked Country Inn and Suites for our November cruise. We canceled ourselves and they were easy. They simply canceled the reservation. GoPort on the other hand is useless. Our August cruise was canceled and we are now at 6 months waiting for a refund. Most likely we will never see it.

As for hotel shuttles, I would just Uber. It would be about the same as the hotel shuttles. The difference is if someone on that shuttle tests positive for covid, everyone on the shuttle will be barred from boarding. That statement is a huge assumption from the MSC cruise issue. But, it is a very likely possibility. A $10-$15 Uber for the family is an easy decision to avoid that potential.

Second Residence Inn.  We've stayed there many times.  Clean, comfy, great pool, and great breakfast.  Parkncruise does the transportation to the port.  Very reliable.

We also have stayed at the Residence Inn, and left our car there for the cruise and took a shuttle to and from the port. I believe we paid $8.00 a day.

I know Radisson and Comfort Inn and Suites have packages. We were booked at CI&S for our March canceled cruise. It was about $200 for the night and to park our car for the week. When you combine the two, it is not that bad.

For our next cruises, we have to use flight credits, so we will be flying now and renting a car. We will stay near MCO because of price and being able to use points.

We are booked at the Radisson Resort at the Port for our October Mardi Gras cruise. We have not booked air yet, in case the cruise gets canceled😪. Now that flight prices are going through the roof, we are considering driving from CNY instead, with a stop in Virginia on the way. I might choose another hotel, depending on stay and cruise packages available, possibly with a shuttle. Any suggestions?.

I just booked Country Inn & Suites for our 9/19 cruise on MSC Divina.  Got it for $177 including all taxes and fees  for 1 night pre-cruise and parking for the whole week.  It is fully cancellable up until 5 pm of the day of arrival, so pretty good!!
