Top of the website after you click on "Find a cruise".  Hope it applies to the 4 i have booked.  Will follow up.

Good news if you want to make the next level especially Pinnacle but the number of Diamonds will increase massively with the knock on effect of overcrowded DLs which is often discussed on here.

I've just sent this to my TA asking him to enquire.

 

For those that it does/may affect, it must apply to existing bookings because imagine the effort required to cancel and rebook all the current bookings for those where C&A points are important. I'm sure RCI has better things to do - like do my refunds & FCCs for a start.

 

Interesting to know how many bookings there are already from the USA & Canada.

 

There is no mention of the offer on either the RCI Press Centre website nor the loyaltoyoualways offers pages

If the offer is real, my guess is new bookings only, as a way to raise cash.   Royal Caribbean has nothing to lose by offering extra points.

 

They did it years ago (several years in a row) when they had the Diamonds in December event. Diamond  members got an extra credit, (no points back then -we had one or two credits per cruise ) for cruises taken in December.

My guess is that it's going to cover existing bookings as well as new ones hoping it might stop some people from canceling

It really wouldn't be fair if it was only new bookings but stranger things have happened. I'm not gonna be happy if it's only new bookings that's for sure.

Agree.  I think having it for new bookings only would be a PR nightmare.

If this is legit, I must say the marketeers at RCI are pretty good - between this and Lift & Shift (and other CWC perks) they've come up with some ingenious ways to keep/pull in deposits.
