Cabin near Laundry Room on Marina

some decks  the laundry room entrance is in a hallway between port/starboard  halls

so you probably  would not hear anything

I would think you would hear more noise from close to the elevator banks

And it is convenient since the laundries get a lot of use. You can quickly check if equipment is available. At times, we have been a long way from the laundry and had to hike to it only to find it was busy. Return to the cabin and try again later.

I do wonder if there will even be self service laundry facilities available in the future, for a while anyway, that’s a potentially lot of people in a small space and a lot of fingers touching equipment.

They have been closed to a code red Noro outbreak before, in my experience.

That is a distinct possibility  for the first several months  after cruising begins

Then they will just toss all your clothes in the general wash with the others

 Take wash n wear & do it in the cabin  😉

I would not be surprised is some cruise lines start to add free laundry to the booking. I received an email from Regent a few months ago saying they added it to our booking which was only an 11 day cruise.
