I want to thank those who took the intent of my post and decided to turn into a debate regarding fake news/Non fake news, wear the mask vs don't wear a mask, science vs non science.

I also want to take the time to thank the moderators who allowed it to happen.

 

To those who added meaningful contributions to the thread, I thank you also.

Is it fair to ask where a question on odds of a cruise happening  during the Covid era would itself turn into a discussion of covid itself?

I may not agree with all of what BlerkOne has written but I can appreciate peoples views on the subject which of course will all be valid when and if a time of cruising will be deemed safe or not safe. One has to assume when they start back up there will be people who disagree on the timetable and the motives of the people sailing or company offering it. I can be certain that when that first ship leaves a US port masks and social distancing will be a topic.

Carnival will not be expanding the sailings till they have a good track record with those three ports. Not at all likely to be expanding beyond those ports before May.

I believe the three ports are Miami, Port Canaveral and Galveston.
