2021 Spring TA

It appears all April and May TAs have been zeroed out.    The prices are still showing but when selecting a category "no rooms available" displays.    And our current reservations keeps saying "we've encountered an error" when I click on "manage my reservation"    I was hoping that Apex would be a go since it doesn't sail until May   😞

I just feel that spring and early summer 2021 cruises will be out of the question, don't set yourself up for disappointment. We have late Aug 2021, I don't believe even that will sail, perhaps(??) late fall, but who knows.

I have July 30th British Isles and have doubts now.

Will Celebrity cancel or want my final due May 1st

which I have no intention of giving them at this point.

For what it is worth, I do not get the same error message when I click on Manage my Reservation, either on our April 18 transatlantic, or on our May 5 British Isles cruise.  But I see that if you were to try to book a cabin on our transatlantic, if does give me the "no rooms available" message.

After speaking with X last week we cancelled our April 19 TA on the Reflection.  The comment made from Celebrity was "I just don't see ANY of the spring TA's happening, way too many sea days in a row in case someone develops Covid and nowhere to port to get help."

I had no reason to argue with the person, and appreciated the honesty.  These TA's are just not going to happen no matter how much we wanted them to.

Just seen this on Social Media, but no mention of Silhouette.

VOLUNTARY
GLOBAL SUSPENSION OF
CRUISING EXTENDED

January 12TH, 2021

Dear Valued Travel Partner,

As we continue to focus on the healthy and safe return to cruising for guests, crew and the communities we visit, we are working closely with our sister brands at Royal Caribbean Group and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as government authorities around the world toward our shared goal. In order to return in the best way possible, we continue to extend the suspension of certain Celebrity Cruises sailings.

In brief, Celebrity Cruises will be suspending sailings through April 30th, 2021 including the May 1st, 2021 transatlantic cruise on Celebrity Apex. As well, May through October 2021 Europe and transatlantic cruises on Celebrity Edge and Celebrity Constellation will also be suspended.

For your guest's convenience, Future Cruise Credits issued as part of the Global Suspension of Sailing will also now be eligible for redemption by April 30th, 2022 on sailings departing on or before September 30th, 2022.

Guests booked on Celebrity Edge, Constellation and Apex will have the option to take a 125% FCC or 100% Refund, or to rebook any other 2021 Europe sailing and receive $100 OBC per stateroom.

FCCs issued as part of the Cruise with Confidence program will also now be eligible for redemption by April 30th, 2022 on sailings departing on or before September 30th, 2022.

I don't think Celebrity is necessarily suspending cruises based on final payment dates. We were scheduled on the May 1 Apex TA and our final payment wasn't due until Jan 31. They just cancelled our cruise, and I know we haven't sent in final payment. I suspect others haven't either.

Does anyone think the 10/21/2021 TA  on Apex will even remotely be a go ?

We're on he Harmony of the Seas 31 Oct 2021 TA, and I wouldn't count it out this far out.  🍷
