When was your last cruise?

Recommended Posts

Oasis of the seas March 1-8 2020, then visited Disney a couple of times before driving our motor home back to Canada March 16.

Had 2 cruises cancelled, end of March and mid April. Then our October cruise cancelled. Not giving up, three more in the books.

Grandeur of the Seas March 7-19, 2020.  Ten days at sea, and only made two ports - Dominica and Barbados.  We also had two medical emergency stops at St Thomas however, nobody else was allowed off the ship. The crew continuously deep cleaned the ship during the last week of the cruise.  Still had a wonderful time and met many nice people!

Left October 2019, returned Dec 2019, 51 day Tales of the South Pacific, with Holland America.  If it becomes our last cruise it sure is a good way to go out.  We had perfect weather the entire cruise.  It was a bucket list cruise for me.

February 22 Brilliance for us.  More memorable because it was free.  We had booked a short cruise just a week in advance, less than a week after returning from another one.  Received a call the next day that it was overbooked and accepted a refund for that one; the following sailing was comped.  So glad we got that last cruise in before it was too late.

Our last was supposed to be March 8th - 15th, 2020 on Freedom. It ended up being the 8th - 17th. The cruise was supposed to disembark in San Juan. The Puerto Rican government closed the port to cruise ships and we were unable to disembark. We got an extra two days on our cruise and disembarked in Miami. It was Freedom's first cruise after Amplification and it turned out to be her only cruise.

I knew someone on that cruise as well. We were to board Freedom this Sunday. She looked amazing after her Amplification.
