A few days ago I posted a sunrise from Grandeur of the Seas arriving in Port Canaveral.  Today's is from the same location, a year earlier, and from Queen Victoria approachng her final port of call on my segment.  From Port Canaveral it was onto Port Everglades and onward to Antarctica.

Today's contribution is sunrise at Copacabana Beach, Rio de Janeiro, 9 February 2020.  Shortly afterward QV passed by, inbound for her overnight stay.  The wife and I boarded the next day on the 10th for our South America voyage.

My next couple of sunrises will be the last from their respective cruises.  I disembarked Queen Victoria in Fort Lauderdale but did not catch a sunrise then but did see it QV's second morning in Port Canaveral.

As indicated yesterday, this will be another final sunrise photo from one of my cruises.  January 22, 2017 was my last sea day on the Grandeur of the Seas before disembarking in Baltimore the next day:

An additional photo from my previous post -- sunrise from QM2 westbound translatlantic, 9 July 2015, this one taken from the stern.  I had also contributed this photo to the "virtual treasure hunt" thread, as the railings here are distinctive to QM2, and @bluemarble  @Colin_Cameron  and @Lanky Lad  correctly identified the ship and location.  It was a flat calm morning, with only QM2's bow wave and wake distubing the sea.

Our Island Princess cruise in 2008 was apparently a good one for sunset photos. Here's one more photo from that cruise approaching sunset in the Caribbean on December13th 2008, our final evening at sea before arriving in Fort Lauderdale the next morning.

My contribution today is from the Indian Ocean.  Sunrise off the Western Australia coast between Fremantle and Busselton, taken from QM2 on 13 Feb 2018.  The second photo below shows the deserted deck 7 promenade.  I think I was the only passenger who was wise enough to get up at 5am local time to enjoy the sunrise and a coffee.  (The wife said I was the only one silly enough.)

Thank You.... Always enjoy walking the Prom in the evening on those warm and still evenings with all at different activities inside.

Sitting and listening to the waves against the side of the ship may even nod off.

My previous post was from QM2 in the Indian Ocean approaching Busselton WA.  Here is another from that same voyage, two days later.  Sunrise on 15 February 2018 in the Great Australian Bight in the Southern Ocean, a sea day between Busselton and Adelaide.  I remained the only sunrise enthusiast awake on deck 7.

It's back to a sunset photo from me today. This photo is showing the Statue of Liberty as seen from Ellis Island. It was taken on December 21st 2013 after a very full day of climbing all the way to the crown of the Statue of Liberty and then visiting the Ellis island National Museum of Immigration. The next day we boarded QM2 for the 2013 Christmas cruise to the Caribbean.
