One TA says sold out, other not

Went to book two balconies on Legend and Cruise Quick said sold out! Went to BPC and was able to book. Does Carnival allocate certain number to each agency?

TAs can have blocks of rooms asigned to them so it is possible that one is booked and one isn't. I was checking recently on pricing for our cruise and BPC was sold out and others were not. Then 2 days later they had cabins. I guess they go another block.

It's possible one agency had reserved a group block and still had space in the group to book you into

Jerrymac, I just checked, and there's plenty of balcony availability for that cruise. I'm not sure why CQ says sold out.
