Yes we dry off in the pool area but then have to rinse the suit off in shower very well to get rid of chlorine. That's what damages ladies swimwear.   Maybe I don't spend $200 on a suit but I know people who spend in excess of that amount, however,  I purchase good quality and if cared for properly will last for years.  Now, you have just had a lesson in swimwear 101.

I wear only Gottex. They used to last for years. Not any more!

I agree.  I also buy Gottex and found a beautiful style that came in 2 colors so purchased both. Got from Winners in Canada sold under TJ Maxx in the States. What a find!

Get excess water from whatever is wet with towels....drape on a clothes hanger and hang from the AIRVENT in the cabin.

I always ask for regular hangers from the room attendant so that I can use the shower to steam and do some easy dewrinkling. Cruiseship shower stalls usually have exhaust vents to vent out moisture to prevent mold and mildew so actually just hanging a swimsuit in the showerstall overnight should dry it out, assuming you took out the excess water by whichever means you want to.

Are we digressing??? Once, I found one CHEAP at winners, but every year I buy one in Aruba.

For cruises out of Fort Lauderdale, a quick trip to Ross for Less does the trick for me.  You can toss it after the cruise if it stretches or fades.
