Amsterdam airport to hotel suggestions

Arriving Aug 2022 and Banks Mansion looks like our pick for the hotel.  What is the best way for a party of 6 to 8 to get from the airport to the hotel?  Anyone know of any pick you up at the airport and do a tour then drop you off at the hotel companies?  Did this in Barcelona and it worked out great.

"You will find the Connexxion Shuttle Service desk in arrival hall number 4, Schiphol Plaza. Please hand them the address of the hotel. The ticket will cost you € 17 for a one way ticket and € 27 for a round trip ticket. TYhe shuttle makes several stops at other hotels. The ride will take 35-45 minutes. You can find the information on the website of Connexxion Shuttle Service."  This is the info:

Tickets & reservations
Once you land at the airport, you can purchase tickets at the Connexxion desk (next to Arrivals 4) or at the Holland Tourist Information desk (by Arrivals 2). You can also proceed directly to the shuttle bus stop A7 by following the “Hotel Shuttles” signs and purchase a ticket from one of the drivers. You never have to wait longer than 30 minutes for the next shuttle to depart. Discounts are available for groups of 3 to 8 travellers and children.

The return trip from Amsterdam back to the airport must be confirmed at your hotel’s reception desk at least two hours before departure.

There will be two of us going from AMS to the Banks Mansion....then after our cruise from the port back to AMS...shouldn't/can't we just take a taxi ?

Of course you can:  see Ine´s post.  And quite a few taxi´s available at the cruise terminal upon arrival.

Thanks...So we can just walk out of each location (AMS/Ship) and taxi's will be lined up and waiting without pre-arrangement needed?

Yes, but please notice that (in my opinion)you better be carefull not to listen to taxi "runners" at Schiphol airport, but go to the taxi stand (or the hotel shuttle....).

Yes, I understand completely and know to avoid these in the many International airports we've traveled through over the years. Thanks so much for your input.

Also be aware that you might need some extra time when disembarking and going to the airport. Sometimes there is a line at the taxi stand. If you are in a hurry to get your flight, you might prebook a cab by that time. https://www.tcataxi.nl/en/

In 2019, we Ubered from the airport to our hotel. We used public transportation back to the airport.
