Best floor for a Sunset Veranda - The Edge

I'm thinking floor 10, but have no reason other than a gut feeling. Thoughts and/or insights appreciated. This would be an Edge westbound transatlantic.

If you do a search and look at comments made by others on this site you will see that supposedly the sunset verandas are slightly larger on the lower levels and get smaller as you move up. I don't think it's a huge difference. I did the research because we were booking an SV for an upcoming cruise. The advice that came up the most was to avoid the lowest level (7?) and the top level due to possible noise issues. Someone who has actually been in one of these cabins can weigh in. I do know the SVs are very popular because they are larger and are "real" verandas.

I'm hoping someone can answer this also.   Booked one on the 12th floor on next yrs Edge in April.  We prefer to have control over the balcony.  It's nice to get some fresh air.

We were on 7..suggest you try 8 or 9...middle cabin

7 had noise at times from EDEN but .not terrible

We booked deck 11 on Edge SV class.  The two middle cabins are larger than other SVs.  Re the 'largest' on which deck....... the lower are larger by inches.  See photo below and the white area beside the cabin door.  We could have booked a lower deck same area, but preferred being higher up.

Great picture.  Helps a lot.   12266 is us,  below Oceanview, so hopefully the early breakfast folks won't be dancing on the tables.  Can't hardly wait to be there

Anything from deck 9 - 11 would be our preference.  We don't want to be under the Sunset Bar above deck 12 and decks 7 & 8 are low enough that the windows from Eden are a slight obstruction looking straight out. We've been lucky enough to have sailed with friends on Edge in three adjacent SVs on deck 11 for a Med cruise in 2019 and the cabin locations were perfect!
