Aft cabin advice - Pursuit

We were on a transatlantic on the Journey in an Aft cabin.    The vibration was there perhaps because she was running at full speed.   We had a fine time using tissue to try to silence all of the rattles.   This worked until the vibration caused the pieces of tissue to fall and we had to put them up again.    The cabin and view are great if you can stand the vibration.

Next time bring a roll of Duct Tape?

If one contacts the Housekeeping Supervisor, he/she will have maintenance look at and in most cases fix your issues.

This is great advice, and on Journey the ship’s carpenter reattached a headboard in our rear stateroom that had worked loose and rattled when speed was increased.

 

When we were on Pursuit in the same location the problem was rather more serious and may have involved the engine’s drive train.
