Hi, just a bit curious about your shareholder OBS being credited.  I am assuming that this was from a fully paid up cruise that was cancelled?

Our agent indicated that no OBS would move from one cruise to another.

we gave up with carnival holding quite a bit of our cash so got refunds and also finding it hard to spend it at the time as only able to use if a major upgrade on an existing cruise booking, in any event the July cruises got cancelled as well to make way for the new staycations.

we were lucky and our agent got us booked into exactly what we were looking for in August, the only problem being the coach offer which whilst it is on the website they were unable to book it as an option.

email to customer services I think!

As I booked a Cunard Fare I asked for a complimentary parking code at for CPS, but this was denied.

Your Cunard booking reference number is what you need to give to CPS. I always book on their website.

According to Cunard there is no complimentary parking with the SeaCation voyages irrespective of fare purchased.

As normal anytime between 6-30pm and 9pm

We have booked in QG for their 1st October cruise - we were told you have to book your time going to the Restaurant either the night before or the next morning in order to control numbers. It is still 6.30 to 9pm though.

Thank you for that info: we do prefer to dine later so hopefully this will not impact us too much in September. I wonder if this is so, as perhaps the pax numbers have not been reduced in the Grills? In another thread, I did read that it was expected that there would be a reduction of about 30% in capacity.

Who told you this ? has this come from your TA or from Cunard Line .

I have future  bookings for 'Two separate cruises around British Isles  ( QE)  both in Princess Grill'.

I've not been notified of this arrangement nor has my Cruise specialist .

Thank You Hattie, Can't think how I missed this.   More importantly my cruise specialist who I contacted shortly after reading the post from Salad Muncher. 🤔

Those that dont reserve could get 8:30? Personally I would prefer 6:30. I would imagine most people would prefer later on Cunard, right?

The information re dining in the Grills  is not really clear , I wonder how one will manage Breakfast or Lunch ?

Reading into this, it sounds as though the Grill guest won't be seated at their dedicated table with the same waiter 🙁

I expect the second sitting needs to be spaced out time wise in order to accommodate the social distancing and table numbers.
I agree that I cannot see 5.30 being very popular but since there are no ports, it could work.

Panic not! Cunard, in their current Covid advice, state they are following the current government guidelines. These may change (hopefully for the better!) on May 17 and June 21, in which case we can expect Cunard to amend their advice to passengers accordingly. All being well we can look forward to fewer restrictions.

Will still have social distancing after May 17th  , but  promised no restrictions except fornmass gatherings after  June 21st.  So these rules should change after June 21st, with luck.

The only fly in the ointment may be size of Brittania restaurant, with 600 people, rules may be different to a normal restaurant. Don't know when mass gatherings rules kick in.
