I loved cruising. I have cruises many times on several lines.  I enjoyed meeting new people, seeing new places, and enjoying great food.  I also loved that ships sail at night while I slept in comfort.  I loved relaxing on the ship. I loved exploring in the ports.  I liked being treated graciously.  Loyalty program perks were nice, but not really necessary. I loved cruising because I had a great time.
So, what could be a dealbreaker for me?  I was unfortunately stuck on a cruise March 2020 that wasn’t allowed into ports because of the threat of covid virus. Many of the venues on the ship were closed.  The tension was horrible.  It wasn’t the fault of the cruise line that the ship was stuck at sea.  I don’t want to relive that experience again.  For me, the dealbreaker is the virus.  I am fully vaccinated. Waiting for a safer world.  I hope that cruising will someday become all those things that I loved about cruising again.

1) The Always Included mandatory

Covid Related. If the above is still in place, this section is a mute point.

1) We will not get a Covid test to board. We have both been vaccinated and that should be enough. We

don't plan on sailing in 2021 no matter when they open up cruising so maybe it won't be required in

     2022.

2) Not being able to get off the ships, in port, without taking a ship sponsored tour.

The value (compared to land vacation) is no longer there.

This (I was already coming to this conclusion pre-Covid)

Also masks required and unable to leave ship unless on a ship-sponsored excursion

Dealbreaker for us would having to fly out of the country to cruise. We have visits Disney World twice and had to wear the masks not too bad unless it's 90+ degrees. Plus we both have worked every day since this started so we get the social distance/mask wearing.
