Cruise documentation

Hey All,

So think I had asked this awhile back when I was supposed to be cruising now (April) but this cruise was canceled and now I’m set for October. Does MSC allow birth certificates as documentation to get on their cruise? I wanted to know for my kids since my husband and I have passports. The person I talked to at MSC says they do but on the web check-in the only documentation I see are passports and ID cards?? If I have to fill out that information I don’t how to do it if there is no birth certificate listed. Do I call MSC and they put it in manually? I want this figured out so I can get IDs or passports done this summer. Thanks!

@Lshriveryou have not supplied enough info to answer. Where are you embarking & disembarking? Which countries are you stopping in? Is this covered under WHTI? Which country are you a citizen of???

As you can see, it's not simple.  Better yet, ask your cruise planner, TA, or MSC!!

Meanwhile, welcome to the weight loss board
