Del Rio on CNBC

We saw FDR on CNN this morning. He went through his reasoning in a somewhat passionate manner. He used the word "draconian" at one point.

The person interviewing him questioned him about how he could ensure that all of the crew would be vaccinated and he replied or inferred that NCL would take care of their vaccinations stateside. When she questioned him further about NCL's ability to procure vaccinations for the crew, he replied that if all of the crew and passengers are not vaccinated, then the ship won't sail. She was satisfied with that.

As far as forged vaccination records goes... IMHO, whatever standards are applied to other travel and hospitality businesses should be applied to cruise ships - i.e. airplanes/airports, casinos, beach resorts, theme parks, etc. Nothing more and nothing less.

In the interest of full disclosure, we think FDR is making a compelling case and has presented it well, but are fearful that it may not work.

So  just  a negative Covid test?

Which seems to be more forged than  other proof of Covid Vaccine

Maybe they can attach it to our voter ID card.

Do you have one of those and is it required for you to vote?

I ask because I don’t have one and I have no trouble voting as I am a registered voter.

Good point. I don't have one either - Nevada.

@Paulchili I live in Colorado:

Acceptable Forms of Identification

Versión en Español

All voters who vote at the polls must provide identification. If you are voting by mail for the first time, you may also need to provide a photocopy of your identification when you return your mail ballot.

TrulyBlonde;

I thought your first post on it was funny.😂. Humor and irony just seems to buzz over some’s heads these days.

On a lighter note, it doesn’t surprise me at all that a CAian would claim they can vote with no ID at all. 🤔

Yes, I tried to add some humor. Honestly, I should never have provided a response.

TrulyBlonde: I will be visiting your state in September for the first time for a 10 day road trip. I'd like to ask you some Colorado travel questions if I may.

Can you email me of CC? susisan8 at gmail.com if you are willing to share info on Colorado.

Not that I'm getting in your private conversation here but PM does not work on CC and never has in the 17 years I've been on it.

That is what I thought. I kept looking at how to enable it and there is no way. Thanks ORV

You can always email me too 😉

IIRC, there used to be a means of clicking on a Yahoo messenger button for contact, if you enabled it in your profile, but that ended when they changed server's several years ago...
