Can anyone please tell me if this berth is actually at the main port in Amsterdam ...near the port terminal .....just up the road from Amsterdam Central rail station. I have tried to find the actual berth but not sure where I should be looking.

Looks as if it is - link attached with information.

and scroll down this one for the word "handeslskade" which suggests that this will be the terminal used.

Many thanks for that....I was hoping that it would be the central port....so convenient for walking into Amsterdam

The change to Ymuiden was discussed on here quite a while ago, after Amsterdam introduced a tourist tax on cruise ship passengers, and Carnival changed the port, presumably to avoid the extra tax.

Hi...yes we were affected by that so wanted to be sure that the cruise we are going to book on for Dec 2022 was not Ijmuiden/Rotterdam. I emailed P&O and asked which dock/berth they are going to dock at and they confirmed Handelskade berth....hence my question

Good news then - couldn't be more convenient for central Amsterdam. Unlike Ijmuiden!  Have P&O switched back again then, I wonder?
