I have my final cruise coming up Next May 2022 the original booking date was

May 24th 2019

I have been fighting for my commissions from the agency I worked with

I have noticed the cancellation penalty has gone from $100 to $1100 to $1300 and no one can explain it

Here is how it reads on one of my guest invoices

If your stateroom is GTY (Guarantee) orWLT (Waitlist), once your room is assigned or confirmed, you’ll receive an updated invoice advising of your location. If your

stateroom has an obstructed view, you’ll receive details once your room is assigned.

Deposit has been posted to your reservation. Final Payment is due by 24 JAN 2022, 5:00 PM EST

The balance due must be paid in full by the final payment date listed above to prevent your booking from cancelling. Balance and payments may not reflect recent transactions

made within the past 48 hours.

Deposit amounts may vary by promotion.

The booking is currently subject to USD 1100.00 cancellation penalties at time of this booking invoice 05 FEB 2021. This amount may increase based on the cruise penalty

schedule.

If you shifted your cruise after the normal cancellation date the cancellation penalties that were in effect when you shifted carryover to the new date.

We shifted a May 2021 cruise to May 2022 and if we cancel that we are subject to I think the 50% penalty that was in effect when we shifted it

If you shifted it before final payment date then it should just be the deposit

Is May 24th 2019 the booking date for the May 2022 cruise or is it the original sailing date of a previous cruise that you L&S once or twice?

Basically, what is the history of the May 2022 cruise booking?

I thought that if you cancelled under CWC, you just got an FCC for the full amount. The $100 p/p was/is waived until May 31, 2021.

My Example:

Original NRD $500 booked 3/30/2020, cancelled under CWC 5/23/2020 before FPD. FCC issued.

Rebooked FCC 7/20/2020, Cancelled by RCL 01/12/2021 before FPD, FCC reissued.

Rebooked FCC 3/24/21, Confirmation says $400 cancel penalty, Repriced today, 4/29/2021, now confirmation says $930 cancel penalty. FPD is 6/6/2021.

If I cancel under CWC on 05/30/2021, which is prior to FPD and the NRD fee waive period expiring, do I get an FCC for the original $500 or will they charge me an additional $430?

Please state the exact dates for each change to the original and subsequent sail dates.

The exact date when final payment was due for the May 7, 2021 booking.

The exact date that you did the L&S to the May ??. 2022 sailing.

Have you made any other changes since the original booking?

The final payment date is listed in my original post

I think the L&S was Feb 5th 2021

BUT I did add a FCC which leaves me with a Balance of -$17.64

The new sailing date is April 24th 2022

I'm not sure why you can't answer the questions clearly and completely?

FYI - The final payment date in your original post is for the 2022 cruise, not the 2021 cruise.

Your OP says the current sailing date is May 2022?  But you're now saying it's April 24, 2022.

Again, what what is the ENTIRE history of the booking from start to finish?  If you don't provide the correct details in your next reply, you're on your own.

L&S ONCE

The May 24th is the original booking date for the May 7th 2021 Ovation of the Seas

It was shifted to the Allure April 24 2022

I was wrong in my original post the cruise was L&S from a May 7th OV cruise to the Allure  April 24th 2022 , the L&S had to have been Feb 5th 2021. from what I can see in an email from my SAM. She too has never seen this and can't get an answer

I don't know the dates for the FCC's

It may have changed when the agency switched to KHM  at least that is the thinking of the SAM

I am the TA, this all happened after I retired last year.

If you're the TA, why can't you provide ALL OF THE DETAILS??????

It's appears from your cut/past invoice dated July 19, 2020 that someone made a change to the May 7, 2021 sailing between the original booking date and July 19, 2020

If you as the TA don't know the history of your booking, and you won't provide all the details,  then no one on CC is going to be able to help.

Surely there's a better way to get help than posting here.  Is there no forum for TA's to discuss issues?

Just wondering if anyone else has seen this.
