LAX to San Pedro transportation (Round Trip)

Recommended Posts

Hi We will be taking a seven day cruise out of San Pedro (Royal Caribbean). In the past we used Super Shuttle but it looks like that is not an option anymore. Any suggestions?

thanks

Uber...or Lyft...

A minor extra hassle now that, upon arriving (not on departure from LAX...they still drop you at the curb for that) you need to shuttle to the LAX-IT lot (frequent shuttles, not a big deal), but that goes for all ride shares and taxis...

We just flew in and out of LAX last week...For our return trip—for us, home from LAX, there was a high demand.  Uber was showing fares of $112-118 for what is normally a less than $50 trip...Our trip TO LAX had been $45 plus a tip bringing it to around $54.   We tried the new Opoli app people have suggested here and kept getting “no driver available” notices...Finally got a Lyft for what worked out to $75 including tip...and grabbed it.  So, be prepared, if it’s a high demand time, you may need to be patient and try more than one service.

if you want to avoid that and go with an old-fashioned shuttle service, you can try Prime Time Shuttle, Roadrunner Shuttle or Karmel Shuttle...For curbside pick-up...

Any idea what the difference between Opoli and Prime Time Shuttle is? The booking system looks to be identical.

I’ve been looking into this too but since our cruise isn’t until next March, I’ve decided not to spend too much effort on the shuttle/transfer from LAX to San Pedro until the fall when, hopefully, things will be getting back to normal(ish).

Opoli and Prime Time are owned by the same people.

If you book Uber, Lyft or Opoli get whatever they call their "black car" service so you get curbside pick up and don't need to deal with LAX-it.
